It's August Already!

It is hard to believe that the summer is almost gone -already. We have had a great summer BBQing for many new friends at many new places. We thank you for your support! As the summer comes to a close we want everyone to know that BBQ does not go "out of season." Anytime is BBQ time.
Saturday August 27, will be our final appearance at the Cedar Mill Farmers Market for the summer. We look forward to an exciting month of September as we attend a couple of competitions, cater for some friends and look ahead to the Cedar Mill Cider Festival in October. Check back for more details on this event soon.

Lots going on around the World Headquarters of Burnt Ends BBQ. Catering on Wednesday and Friday, then heading out to Sisters, OR. to participate in the Brews, Views & Bar-B-Ques State Championship BBQ contest this weekend. Shifting Gears This Week!

Beginning Saturday July 17, and for the next three weeks, Burnt Ends BBQ will take a break from the Northwest competition BBQ circuit and set up our booth at the Cedar Mill Farmers Market. The Cedar Mill Farmers Market is located in the parking lot of the shopping center at the intersection of NW Murray and Cornell Roads, just west of the Safeway store. You will find a great selection of farm fresh fruits and vegetables along with a wonderful array of locally crafted items. On Saturday we will be selling two of our favorite BBQ treats; pulled pork and Chopped BBQ Beef Brisket sandwiches. Come early, we promise a breakfast surprise! We have been selected as an approved vendor for the Pacific Northwest Barbecue Championship at the Portland Rose Fesitval's Waterfront Village in Tom McCall Waterfront Park. The Super Bowl is Near

The end of the football season is rapidly approaching. There are only two teams left standing who will face off in that really big football bowl game we call the Super Bowl. Burnt Ends BBQ is based in Cedar Mill, OR. Created as a competition BBQ team we have been competing in BBQ contests throughout the Pacific Northwest since 2005. Before that, team captain and pit master, John Roberts, followed this same circuit as a contest judge, certified by the Kansas City Barbecue Society (KCBS). While judging, John learned that the appeal of competing was too strong to overcome. Since beginning to compete, Burnt Ends BBQ has experienced a great deal of success, winning a number of awards for our BBQ. This success has lead people to ask us to cater their private events.
